The township of Madawaska Valley is now under a total fire ban.
This means no open air burning is allowed in the area, including campfires and cooking fires.
The ban is in effect until further notice.

North Hastings remains under a daytime burning ban, meaning open air burning is not allowed in the area between 7:00am and 7:00pm.
