Quinte Health Care has ended its latest fiscal year with a $291,000 surplus.
The information was presented at QHC’s annual general meeting, held in Bancroft yesterday evening.
The group says it also had to deal with $11.5-million in cuts, while still managing to provide the same quality of care.

At North Hastings General Hospital, security and patient registration hours were cut during that time, although there are no other expected changes to service.
A representative for the North Hastings Fund Development Committee also presented during the AGM, saying over the past 10 years it has raised over $1.8-million for our local hospital.
