People all over Eastern Ontario can now access healthcare from the comfort of their homes.
Ontario Health has launched a new initiative called the “East Region Virtual Care Clinic,” an online service that lets people speak with a nurse practitioner either over the phone or through a video chat.
According to the website for the program, the region it serves “spans from Pickering to Ottawa and Kingston to Pembroke,” and can refer patients to local healthcare providers.
