St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery is entering Week 21, with the ace of spades still in play.
Sandra Dombroskie, of Whitney, was the Week 20 winner. She won $1,164. But when she flipped over a card, the ace of spades didn’t turn up, so the lottery continues.
Five-dollar tickets are being sold at several Madawaska Valley-area stores, with proceeds benefiting local health care. Each weekly winner gets to flip over a card and when the ace of spades turns up that winner will take home a jackpot, which is now over $30,000.

A portion of sales goes to support local health care. Another portion goes towards a weekly draw. And another portion goes to a jackpot.
