Killaloe OPP is asking for the public’s help in the case of a damaged door to a downtown Barry’s Bay business.
Police were called to a business on the Opeongo Line just before 5 p.m. last Monday. They believe the damage was done either that day or the day before.
The name of the business and its exact location wasn’t released by police Nothing was stolen but police have launched a mischief investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
Drivers charged in separate crashes
Killaloe OPP has laid traffic-related charges to two drivers, following separate crashes last week.
Police were called to a single-vehicle collision involving a car on Palmer Road, near McPhee Bay in Madawaska Valley last Wednesday afternoon. They found a car in a ditch and they charged a 57-year-old from Palmer Rapids for driving in the wrong lane. Minor injuries were reported.
And on Saturday morning, police responded to a report of a sport utility vehicle rolling over on Highway 60 near Lake Dore Road in North Algona Wilberforce. After an investigation, police charged a 45-year-old from Killaloe with careless driving. No one was injured.
