Residents in the municipality of Greater Madawaska may have to vote in a different federal riding soon.
A report tabled in the House of Commons earlier this month calls for some tweaks to the riding now known as Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke.
The proposal calls for Greater Madawaska residents to become part of another new riding, known as Lanark-Frontenac.

The rest of the current riding would remain the same. However, it would have a new name; Algonquin-Renfrew-Pembroke.
The changes could become official by April 2024.
