Joyce Lorbetskie, of Barry’s Bay, is the Week 14 winner in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery. She won just over a thousand dollars. But when she flipped over a card, the Ace of Spades was not found, so the lottery program continues.
Next week’s prize is estimated at $1,050 and if the winner finds the ace of spades they’ll win a jackpot that is approaching $20,000.
Five-dollar tickets for the lottery are being sold at several Madawaska Valley stores, with proceeds benefiting health care in the area.
