The Joe Murray Memorial Golf Tournament continues to make a lasting impact on the community.
Organizers of the fall event, the 39th annual, handed over a $5,000 cheque to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation earlier this month.
It represented proceeds from the tournament, held at the Homestead at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.

The money is being earmarked to the Tree of Lights campaign, which is raising money for a new ultrasound for St. Francis Memorial Hospital.
