Killaloe OPP is encouraging people to seek help if they’re living in an abusive relationship. This after a trying week, in which the detachment responded to five domestic calls.
One incident, last Wednesday, led to the arrest of a 37-year-old from Bonnechere Valley for mischief and breaching conditions.
The next day, a 61-year-old from Madawaska Valley was charged with assault in a separate incident.
Three other people were charged from domestic calls over the weekend.
On Saturday, a 34-year-old from Madawaska Valley was charged with domestic assault and mischief.
On Sunday, a 33-year-old from Bonnechere Valley was charged with assault and careless storage of a firearm. And a 55-year-old from Madawaska Valley was charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief.
