Hastings Highlands Council is asking the province to not suspend funding for Rural Ontario.
A Hastings Highlands Council meeting saw information presented about the provincial government suspending the Rural Economic Development Program, and related funding.
The money has been put towards the Jobs and Prosperity Fund, which prevents access to funding for rural municipalities.
