The Canadian Blood Services is asking you to donate during an upcoming blood donation clinic.
Territory Manager for our Region Melissa Smith-McGuire says the service needs 200,000 blood donations by July 1st to take care of their patients needs.
Smith-McGuire says there is also a Bancroft-specific goal, which will help our local hospitals, and people across the country.
Smith-McGuire says there is a need for O type bloods.

The next local blood clinic is being held on May 30th, from 1:30pm to 6:30pm at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle.
