Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges in their investigation on Pikwakanagan First Nation.
Police responded to a call around 3 o’clock Saturday morning at a home north of Kokomis Inamo. Officers found a dead 67 year old on the scene. Paramedics also transported another person with non-life-threatening injuries to the hospital.
Police have charged a 27-year-old from Bonnechere Valley Township with first-degree murder and failure to comply with a probation order. The accused was kept in custody and will appear in court next week.

The investigation is ongoing and police believe there is no threat to public safety. The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.
