The Renfrew County Communications Committee have said they have administered over 2429 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to date.
The largest blitz came on February 22nd, with over 1500 shots given. Many of these were at a recent clinic in Deep River, where long-term care residents and staff, as well as some healthcare workers.
They say an online, centralized vaccine booking system is on the way, and ask residents to not call their primary care provider to book a vaccine appointment.
