Ten drivers are facing charges following this year’s Festive RIDE Campaign by the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
The campaign took place from November 21 to January 2 and saw officers conduct 195 RIDE checks in the district.
The drivers face charges stemming from impaired driving to refusal to comply.

Meanwhile, two driver’s license suspensions were also issued during the campaign for drivers who registered in the ‘warn range’ on a Roadside Screening Device.
While the campaign has wrapped up, the OPP says it is committed to roadway safety and RIDE programs will continue all through the year.
