It appears the border between Canada and the U.S. will remain closed for a while longer.
It comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the government will not lift a ban on non-essential travel between the two countries until the COVID-19 outbreak is under control around the world. The two countries first agreed to the ban back in March and it has continued to be extended on a monthly basis ever since.
The ban doesn’t apply to those who must cross to ensure the continued flow of goods and essential services, including truckers and hospital staff.
