Madawaska Valley Township has downgraded its fire ban back to a Level 1 after a sustained period of rain.
Campfires and Fireworks will be allowed. Campfires may be no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet in size. Permits will not be issued at this time.
The following are not allowed at this time in MV Township

- Burning of brush or brush/leave piles or other yard waste
- Burning of grass
- NO OPEN AIR BURNING
- NO DAYTIME BURNING IS PERMITTED FROM APRIL 1STÂ TO OCTOBER 31ST
- All fire permits are suspended and none will be issued
