January Is Crime Stoppers Month In The Valley

Since the Pembroke/Renfrew Crime Stoppers started in 1989 say they have helped with over 600 arrests, closed over 1,100 cases , and paid out almost $78,000 in awards.
This month marks the 40th anniversary since the program started internationally.
In Ontario as a whole, they have seized over $6-billion in drugs and property.
Worldwide, they are involved in an arrest every 14 minutes.
