Giving Tuesday exceeded expectations for the St Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation this week.
Executive Director of the foundation, Toni Lavigne-Conway says staff and residents were smiling from ear to ear yesterday. She says they raised $6500, which is $1000 more than their initial goal. She says staff and residents were ecstatic throughout the day as they received donations online and by phone.
She adds that the funds will be used to make Valley Manor residents’ lives a little more exciting, especially when they get a personalized gift from Santa this Christmas. They also use the funds for trips and birthday gifts throughout the year.
Lavigne-Conway doesn’t hesitate to thank the donors and says that they were the true super heroes and champions on this Giving Tuesday.
