After months of anticipation, the Eganville Splash Pad will officially open this weekend.
Fundraisers for the splash pad have been held for months that included a raffle that saw a brand new truck being given away. The township has a fundraising committee that had raised over $100,000 for the project. The remainder of the project was budgeted for through township reserves.
Construction for the splash pad began in July and wrapped up in a few weeks, while the township says it’ll officially be open to the public by this weekend. The township says it would like to add a shade structure to the splash pad as its next project.

The new splash pad will be located at the Legion Fields in Eganville.
