Police say mechanical issue led to Petawawa Collision

Police say a man won’t face charges after driving into a parked car and a garage.

That’s according to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, which was called to the scene of the collision last Sunday around 2:00am.

According to police, an inspection of the vehicle revealed that there had been a mechanical issue with the car that effected the gas pedal.

The man is not facing any charges and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries as a result.
