Environment Canada says the area from Haliburton through Bancroft into Renfrew could be hit with up to 15 centimetres of snow by Wednesday morning.
The weather agency also says the freezing rain could last for several hours.
Meredith says you need to pay attention to the forecast because of it.
Meredith says a winter storm warning could be issued for Madawaska Valley if the forecast changes.
These types of warnings are in effect in Haliburton and Algonquin Park.
