Students at Madawaska Valley District High School are doing what they can to support the food bank.
Julia Beggs, a member of the school’s Student Activity Council, is organizing a movie night tonight in support of the Madawaska Valley Food Bank. Beggs says the council decided to support the food bank because of their history working with it.
Madawaska Valley Food Bank President Terry Newcombe says he was thrilled when he found out the high school was doing this in support of the food bank.

Newcombe also says he’s glad to see local youth being involved with the food bank. The movie starts at 6:00pm tonight, and you’re asked to bring either a cash donation or a non-perishable food item as admission.
