Today is the last day Arnprior residents can give their thoughts on an upcoming construction project.
The County of Renfrew will be starting work on the Madawaska River Bridge this year. The bridge is 44 years old, so the purpose of the construction will be basic structural repairs.
According to the county, the project will take about two years to complete.

The county says the roadways won’t be completely closed as one lane of traffic will always be open during construction, as well as at least one sidewalk.
It’s expected an open house will be held prior to construction to provide information, but no date has been set yet. To contact someone with any concerns, questions or comments about the project, click here.
