Police have laid charges after an explosion at a home in Pembroke.
Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says it responded to the call on Thursday at a home on D’arcy Street. Police have determined the cause of the explosion was a clandestine drug laboratory. At the time of the explosion, one man and a 3-month-old were in the residence, both were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
As a result, a 31-year-old Petawawa man has been charged with multiple possession-related offences, as well as one count of arson by negligence. There were no injuries in the explosion and police continue to investigate.
