With the recent stretch of snowfalls, ski trails in Algonquin Park are starting to reopen.

After trails closed following a warm February, three of the four trails are now open for cross-country skiers.

The Minnesing and Old Railway Trails are both completely open again, while the Leaf Lake Trail is 45% open with 20 kilometres ready to ski on. Meanwhile, the Fen Lake trail is still closed and not safe to ski on.

You can find the most recent trail statuses at Algonquin Park’s website.
