Load restrictions are now in effect on county-wide roads within the Renfrew County.
While most daily drivers won’t be effected, the restrictions are more focused towards commercial vehicle drivers. Weight cannot exceed five tons per axel on roads with load restrictions. The reason for the restrictions is to protect roads during the spring thaw.
Restrictions will take place until May 31st, click here for a full list of effected roads.
