Poker Run Proceeds to Go Towards New Fire Truck In BLR

The Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Fire Department Poker Run and Fishing Derby has the green light for this weekend.

The event was originally supposed to be last weekend, but was rescheduled for March 10^th because of the warm weather. BLR Fire Chief Jordan Genrick says all of the funds raised will go towards the new firetruck that’s expected to arrive at the end of the summer.

Genrick says the ice is safe to go despite last week’s warm spell.

Registration starts at 9:00am at Raglan White Lake Beach on Saturday.
