Madawaska Valley Election Information Now Available

Information about how to run for Madawaska Valley Council is now available to the public.

The nomination period for the 2018 municipal elections runs begins in May and goes until July 26^th, with the nomination day happening on July 27^th.

To enter as a nomination, you must has a declaration signed by at least 25 people and pay a filing fee of either $200 for Head of Council or $100 for any other office.

Nominations for either Municipal Office or School Board Trustee can be dropped off at the Madawaska Valley Township office any time after May 1^st.
