For the second time in just over a year, the Madawaska Valley Township is without a CAO/Clerk.
The news was announced by Mayor Kim Love during a Special Council Meeting Wednesday morning after the township had parted ways with now former CAO/Clerk Doug Robertson.
Love says she will have an update with more information at the March 5th Regular Council Meeting and has no comment until then.
At the Finance and Administration Committee meeting Wednesday, committee looked into options for filling the position as soon as possible. In the meantime, Executive Assistant and Communications Coordinator Gwen Dombroski will take on the role of Acting Clerk.
