Madawaska Valley Fire Chief Not Fond of New Fire-Medic Idea

Firefighters being trained to do paramedic duties wouldn’t be beneficial to the Madawaska Valley Fire Department.

That’s the message from Fire Chief Corwin Quade, who says it would means thousands of dollars that doesn’t need to be spent.

Quade also says it would just mean more volunteer firefighters would need to be called to a fire.
