The speaker system at the Combermere Community Centre is getting an upgrade.
That’s because the hall has received a $300 donation to put towards the system.
The donation comes from Nancy Betournay of the Madawaska Valley Friendship Club, and was presented to Madawaska Valley Council Tuesday night.

The Combermere Community Centre is used by various groups including the Friendship Club and Combermere and Area Recreation Committee, but is also used for things like karate lessons.
