Prices of Renfrew County homes were down in January, while more homes were sold.
That’s according to the Renfrew County Real Estate Board, who says 62 homes in the county were sold in January 2018, up about 17% from last year and seeing a new three-year-high for the month.
However, the price of homes has dropped just over 7% since last January, with the average house being sold for just under $210,000 last month.

The board also says that total property sales are up almost 26% from January 2017, with 73 units being sold in the first month of 2018.
