The fourth curbside ash pickup of the winter in the Madawaska Valley is coming on Thursday.

This will be the fourth of six ash pickups of the winter season in Madawaska Valley, after monthly pickups started in November. Once a month until April ashes will be picked up from residents’ curbs.

The township is reminding residents to have their ashes on the curb by 6:00am to ensure they’re picked up, and to make sure they’re fully extinguished, not near any regular garbage and in a metal container.

The next curbside ash pickup after Thursday will be March 15th.
