Hastings Highlands Public Library now has a new interim-CEO and head librarian.
During today’s Hastings Highlands Council meeting, the library board’s Chair Marjory McPherson announced Rod Moffitt would be stepping into the role. Moffitt says he’s looking forward to it.
Moffitt says he does have some goals in mind for the library moving forward.
Moffitt takes over for former CEO Kimberly McMunn, who resigned in December. McMunn has now taken over as the Bancroft Public Library’s interim-CEO.
Council also voted in favour of appointing Garfield McAdam and Valerie Loney as the new members of the library board. This now means there are seven members. This decision comes after former board chair Kathy Irwin resigned in December.
