Renfrew OPP have updated the public on the status of their massive investigation into mailbox thefts.
Police say that hundreds of mailboxes in the Renfrew area were either stolen or damaged last weekend. This had been reported by residents in McNab-Braeside, Horton, Admaston and Greater Madawaska.
Following a massive investigation, police say six males were arrested including five 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old. Police say that the 18-year-old won’t face any charges at this time, and are asking any other victims who haven’t reached yet to police yet to do so.
