The St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation has received it’s final of five donations from the Madawaska Valley Township.
Council presented a cheque for $10,000 to the Healthcare Foundation at Monday’s Council meeting. It’s the final installment of a commitment made by the township five years ago. The commitment, called the Families Helping Families Campaign, saw the township donate $50,000 in total over the five years to the foundation to be used on equipment at the hospital.
The foundation represents the hospital, manor and hospice in Barry’s Bay.
