Police Launch Investigation into Hundreds of Stolen and Damaged Mailboxes

Police are asking for the public’s help following a string of strange thefts in Renfrew.

Renfrew OPP says that they have a massive investigation underway after hundreds of mailboxes were either stolen of smashed. Police say the incidents happened between February 2^nd and 5^th, and that this has been reported in McNab-Braeside, Horton, Admaston, and Greater Madawaska.

Police have identified several suspects and charges are pending. Renfrew OPP says if you’re a victim of this and haven’t yet reported it, to contact police.
