Attendance is down this winter at the Railway Station Tourism Centre in Barry’s Bay.

That’s according to a report done by the Madawaska Valley Township, which shows attendance from October to the end of December for days the tourism centre was open.

With the railway station only open on weekends since October, attendance has seen a swift drop off since Halloween. In the 12 days it was open between Halloween and the end of December, only 23 people visited the station.
