Bereavement support coming to Barry’s Bay this holiday season

A bereavement support group is coming to Barry’s Bay to help make the holidays easier for residents who have lost loved ones.

Hope for the Holidays is a free support and memorial event, sponsored by Madawaska Valley Palliative Care. It’s for those who are worried about the holidays or looking for support at this time of year. It’ll include coping strategies, resources, music, refreshments and more.

The event is happening at the Opeongo Seniors Centre November 29th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. You have until Friday to register. For details, click here.
