A RIDE check in Pembroke has resulted in impaired driving charges.
That’s according to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, who says the RIDE program was happening Friday night. Police say that they suspected the man was under the influence and following a test that was found to be true.
As a result, a 49-year-old Whitewater Region man was charged with impaired driving and had his license suspended for 90 days. Police also say his vehicle was towed and will be impounded for seven days. He’s set to appear in a Pembroke court in February.
