The Combermere and Area Recreation Committee wants your empty milk cartons.
That’s because they plan on using them at a Family Fun Day in late February. Elaine Schweig, President of the Committee, says that the cartons will be filled with coloured water and frozen to create ice blocks to build a castle for the event.
Schweig says there are drop-off bins at the Municipal Centre in Barry’s Bay as well as the Combermere Community Centre, and is asking that the milk cartons be either one litre or two litres in size.
