Police are reminding residents to always keep an eye on their license plates.
This comes after Bancroft OPP had a man come into the detachment saying his plates were stolen off a vehicle on his property.
Police say the plates were stolen sometime in the last decade or so as the vehicle they were taken off of hasn’t been in service. According to police, the plates have been used in the City of Toronto and parking tickets have been issued to a vehicle that had the stolen plates on them.
