Police have charged two men following domestic dispute investigations.

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says the first of two calls was on January 6th in Pembroke. Police say that officers responded while a domestic dispute was in progress. Following an investigation, a 21-year-old Pembroke man was arrested and charged with domestic assault and forcible confinement stemming from a previous incident.

The second incident was on January 10th in Laurentian Valley. Police say a 31-year-old Carp man was arrested and charged with forcible entry after forcing his way into a residence.

OPP says the incidents are not related and that both men will appear in court in February.
