A pair of Pembroke women have been charged after shoplifting.
That’s according to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, who says they responded to the call Friday afternoon at the Value Village on Pembroke Street West.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, police say they located two suspects nearby and arrested them. The suspects each had stolen items including clothing and personal accessories, which was all recovered by police.
As a result, a 36-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman have both been charged with theft under $5000.
Both are set to appear in a Pembroke court in late February.
