A Carleton Place man is due in Renfrew court following a single-vehicle crash.

The Renfrew OPP says the male driver went through the guardrails and down an embankment on Calabogie Road around Fleming Road Sunday just after 2:00am.  Paramedics took the male driver to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  After several breath tests, police charged the 23-year-old man with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.

He has been released with a promise to appear December 23rd.  The investigation continues.
