Special weather statement in effect; Temperature to drop today

Another cold snap is on the way starting today.

That’s according to Environment Canada, which has issued a special weather statement for the area. The weather agency says bitterly cold temperatures are expected to start today, and liger on until Saturday. In some places, extreme cold warnings could be issued as the temperature dips down to minus 30.

The cold snap is expected to end by Sunday.
