Environment Canada’s extreme cold warning remains in effect for the area.

The weather agency says very cold wind chills of up to minus 35 continue this morning, which can put you at risk. You’re being reminded to cover up if you’ll be outside to protect yourself from frostbite. You should also keep emergency supplies in your vehicle, like extra blankets and jumper cables.

Meanwhile, because of today’s flurries, Environment Canada is also warning you of potentially hazardous driving conditions. Environment Canada is calling for up to five centimetres of flurries today, which could be heavy at times. This could reduce visibility and make driving difficult.
