Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Festive RIDE Update Week Four

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have released the results from its fourth week of the Festive Ride Program.

During the week, officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP detachment conducted 32 ride checks in the area. Police say that there were no alcohol impaired driving charges laid during the week.

However, police say that a 48-year-old Pembroke man was stopped at a RIDE check on December 21^st and was impaired by drugs, He’s now facing impaired driving charges, as well as facing four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
