Winter officially kicks off at 11:28am tomorrow, and it could be colder-than-average this year.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says the temperature fluctuates over the course of the next few days. Coulson says it will be colder-than-usual on Thursday and Friday, with a short lived warm-front on Saturday.
Coulson also says snow will be part of the forecast to start off the winter months.
Coulson says it’s hard to say what the long-term forecast will bring, but does predict that winter could be colder-than-average overall.
