New OPP Initiative Cracking Down on Distracted Transport Truck Drivers

The OPP have announced an innovative new initiative to locate distracted drivers.

OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel says ‘Operation Safe Trucking’ has kicked off and is aimed at stopping distracted transport truck drivers.

Yarmel also says ‘Operation Safe Trucking’ is aimed reducing the amount of collisions involving transport trucks in Ontario.

The campaign runs until December 15^th, and is a province-wide initiative.
